I have to file a loan application which requires me to state if I am a Lawful Permanent resident alien and I am not sure if I am, can somebody please clarify if I am a Lawful Permanent resident alien or not if I have a pening I-485 application and I am working on EAD?

You can't use lines, but you can use text instead. For a line, use an underscore _ or - or | or \ or / or >, and so on. for a circle, you can use an 'o'.

i believe PD is mentioned only on 140, it will not be mentioned on 485.

Dear IV members
This is for my wife. Her 485 is pending with TSC. PD is EB2 India March 15 2004. Has been current since September 1. After the USCIS website update recently received Document production or Oath Ceremony status update online. And message saying a document has been sent etc.
Since she was current we thought it might be good. 30 days later nothing received. Raised SR since we didnt receive anything. The customer service rep as usual didnt know anything. Said they haldn't received anything back. They opened SR. We got response 3 weeks later.
In the response letter it says that another notice will be forthcoming to tell you to go to local ASC.
Havent received anything. Do you think right now should I again pursue after them by writing to Ombudsman etc especially since case is current? Mainly I am afraid that since the status says Document production would some IO think that the case is already approved and so stop working on that case? Please advice. Thanks in advance.

I have a question about forming an LLC while being on H1B. I am entering into an agreement with an Incorporated company to provide my technical services to it and in return they need to give me a percentage of the revenue. Clearly, I cannot enter into this kind of arrangement as myself as I not authorized to work in the US. For that I am planning to form an LLC or an Incorporation and my company will enter into a contract with the other Incorporation. Is this legal or will this be construed as an effort to bypass H1B laws? I'll still be doing the daytime job and fulfilling my obligations that I have with the H1B sponsoring employer.
Please let me know your opinion.

We can see more of these GC approvals and visa number allocation in September because USCIS and DOS have to use up all available visa numbers.
If not, we can see again about 10,000 visa numbers unused and wasted.

Hi!
I need to know when can I fly back to US on my H4 visa(valid till 2011 ).
My husband has joined a new job and his H1 B transfer has been filed .
Do I have to wait for new I 797 or Can I just travel on my old H4 visa and
visa transfer receipt notice .( he is filing the H1 transfer by premium processing ) .
His new employer is suggesting me to reenter on old h4 and before my husband
joins their company .
But for me that will be very soon ( not fulfilling the purpose of my visit ).
Any help is much appreciated.:confused:
