I received the rfe details today..Here is my list of documents needed by uscis
1) updated properly completed form G-325A
2) employment letter from my new employer to prove that i am working on the same/similar job as my LC (since I did not submit AC21 documents), I need to do it now, since I changed my address and the letter mentions that I am not staying in the same state as of my original LC and now they require AC21 documents.

You will get your GC in 2011.
Which state are you in? Try other means of financing for the car. Sometimes the dealers themselves have options but might be a % or two higher.
There was a previous post regarding admisibility of EAD as one of the documents for DL. You might want to search for that post. I asume you dont have an H1b, right?
I am on H1 and I140 approved. Bank of american denied my car loan. Infact Honda Finance too denied my loan. Finally I had to go with Credit union who gave me very good APR for my excellent credit history. So there is a way out guys ..we just have to live with it untill we get our GC

Can someone explain what "Temporary Restrain Order" would do if it were successful. It sounds to me that the lawsuit is asking the court to temporarily invalidate the July visa bulletin so that USCIS will be forced to accept the applications. Is this a reasonable understanding? Any lawyers here?

Like many others I have been following IV since July 2nd. Post July 17th reversal, just like everybody else I was tracking 485 receipts. I did make a promise to myself to contribute to IV once I get the receipts. That's the least I can do. I would have loved to go to DC on the 18th but unfortunately wouldn't be able to make it due to family reasons.

I told my American friend about how unfair the new bill is to people like us. She wants to help and also asks her parents to contact their senator in different state. Because they only don't like illegal immigrants.
My attorney's web site has his comment. He thinks this unreasonable bill can't be passed.
I'll call senators and congressmen in my state Monday as well as editors working for leading newspaper in my area.
American dream was what drawn us here: a belief you can live a good life if you work hard, being creative and receive advanced education. I think the reason why America has become the strongest country is more than one-hundred year's hard work and contribution from generations' immigrants. A continued inflow of warm blood, creativity and hard working is the guarantee that America will remain strong. What this bill is doing is to bring evil spirit to America. Law-abiding, being good person, trustworthy, hard-working virtues do not fit into this country's culture anymore. Being illegal, breaking the law and not paying taxes are encouraged by government.
I am very sad to see this bill being proposed. I love the old American spirits and love the people here. The bill told me to no longer hold faith in their system.

And without reason, the goal was increased to $10K.
So, pappu should not complain of not reaching the goal when he keeps increasing the goal.

USCIS asked for $5K for information. As per Pappu's investigation, USCIS is currently resolving FOIA filed a year back. In that case even after paying 5K, we may get information after a year. We needed little more money keep our options open as we are determined to get this information from USCIS. This is why we needed more money and I raised the goal. If it can be done by 5K, rest of the money will go to IV lobbying efforts. There is nothing wrong in that.
Core team may not like this but I can understand your point. There is a communication gap between IV Core team and members. Core team wants to hide everything they are doing assuming that anti are reading the forum and they will know what we are doing. On other side members feel uncomfortable as nothing comes out as solid / strong plan of action. There were couple of instances were I personally felt that core talks too much among themselves and release almost zero information to members, it may be good for community overall but not good for an organization where everyone is participating directly or indirectly. By recent posts by Pappu, I think they are improving.
We need to give them a chance as anyways their act is selfless. They may be lagging in personal management but they are not bad by heart or doing anything for personal benefit.

Mine too is the same. I hope we are not from the same company. I remember, I had to fight asking my employer to file the labor since they were delaying without giving any reason and they did filed a bunch of labors on the same day.
No we are not. I work for a company which has only filed two PERM since it was incorporated. Nice to know our priority date is same. Stay in touch - let's see if they approve our applications around the same time. All the best.

Guys...all applications are pre-adjudicated irrespective of whether a PD is current according to the receipt date.
Once receipted they go on the shelf and are given for adjudication to an adjudicator as in a fairly FIFO manner.
Let's not confuse this with those who were pre-adjudicated and then placed on the shelf for lack of visa number availability. Most of the petitions approved in June were from this shelf.
As a rule they don't jump and take the "PD current" ones even if they are submitted late.
Again I also read this from a question posed to the "I-485 Production Line Supervisor" in an open house document posted by an organization.

The available information shows only three days of extended stay and one week of car which they need to share with other executives. Fortunately the extended stay suites come with attached rest room. Otherwise they need to share with other multinational executives. There would be long queue in front of the shared room and eventual back log...

And forgot to mention, that if 2 months notice is not given we are asked to sign an agreement to pay back close to 10 grand.
Is this how a multinational executive gets treated who are fortunately qualified for the EB1 category and company projects you as most valuable employee for business development who would be sponsoring you EB1.
All this will feed the anti's and true trolls. Why don't we focus on our objectives?
If the company really feels the need , they may as well recruit someone locally who might be much more qualified without going through all of those hassles. All this is done as part and parcel of exploiting the system and its employees.

got FHA loan on EAD..... My EAD was is expiring in July.... So they were skeptical... I showed them FHA guideline.... showed old EAD and all previous 797s.... they approved 30 Fixed FHA.....

For all those who have sent PM.... Please note I am not an attorney or accountant... But then I had consulted my account and few attorney's ( paid the required fees to get them answered)... So please use your own judgement/caution.
1. Yes you can open a LLC singly or jointly with your wife/friend/anyone.
2. You can start the LLC even when you are on H1B but it is better that you wait till you get your EAD to get oprationalized. reason very very conservative view is that you cannot even write a check for your company or deposit a check... but this is a very conservative view....
3. To open a LLC you can use an accountant ( if you have one, it will be cheaper by a couple of hundred dollars) or use agencies like www.legalzoom.com/legalzip/LLCs/llc_procedure.html .... I have used both in the past....
4. Intially you can just form LLC as single or joint partnership and then elect as S corporations for taxing.... I forget within which period it is to be done, if I correctly remember when you file your first tax return or within 6 months you need to elect as filing as single person entity( then it becomes like your personal income) or you could elect as S corp....
5. You will a tax id for the LLC, business license and other documents when you form a LLC, You will need to maintain book and tax records for 3 years... best to have it managed by an accountant

Political leaders are same in every country and this is to appease the very vocal anti H1b citizens. They could have done 100 different things, which would really help the citizens. When we tried to hire a Hyperion report developer on a short term project, 45 of the 50 resumes were from Indians. Other 5 resumes we chose to interview were ridiculously unrelated. This scenario will leave the company to outsource the complete project, which also eliminates other 5, 6 surrounding non specific tech/non tech jobs. He misleads the congress saying purpose of H1b is to invent the products which is really to keep the sufficient pool of specialty skilled people for the businesses. This bill is certainly short cited.
